If you have some extras laying around, consider donating them to The Crayon Initiative! This organization collects crayons from restaurants, schools and homes across the country, melts them down and remanufactures them, reducing waste. Even better, the recycled crayons are distributed to art programs at children’s hospitals around the U.S.
We’re all about their earth-friendly stance and their passion for finding a positive use for what might have been simply thrown away.
