Fireside Sips: Summer Sunset
Sip, sip hooray! Johnny and Neka, also known as the Cocktail Bandits on Instagram, are a Charleston-based duo specializing in festive drinks, and they’ve dreamed up a few fireside sips just for Duraflame. First up? The Summer Sunset.
Make sure you’ve got plenty of ice on hand and grab some OUTDOOR firelogs, because it’s almost happy hour!
Ingredients:
1 oz. of El Silencio mezcal
1 oz. of red vermouth
¾ oz. of orange juice
¾ oz of agave syrup
Topped with spicy ginger ale (1 oz)
Garnish: Candied ginger and basil leaf
How-to:
Add mezcal, red vermouth, orange juice and agave syrup to a mixing tin full of ice.
Secure lid, then shake.
Strain cocktail mixture into a rocks glass full of ice.
Carefully add spicy ginger ale to the mixture until the glass is full.
Place candied ginger and basil leaf garnish.
Relax and enjoy by the fire!
