How-to:
Get a fire going in the fire pit (with OUTDOOR firelogs, of course).
Using nonstick cooking spray, spray the inside of the sandwich iron.
Butter both sides of two pieces of bread. Place a slice into one side of the sandwich iron, and press down firmly. Layer cheese and optional toppings onto the bread slice. Lay the other piece of bread in the other half of the sandwich iron.
Connect the two sides of the sandwich iron and press down, ensuring that the handles are locked together. If any excess bread is hanging out of the iron, scrape it away so it won’t burn.
Place the iron right in the middle of the hottest part of the fire and leave it there for 3-4 minutes, rotating a few times. When it’s ready, the sides should appear a golden brown when you peek inside. Allow to cool before opening and eating.
Enjoy!
